Any pets I’m not allowed to keep?
Some breeds of dogs are banned in Cayman and some birds and animals that are considered to be ‘endangered’ may not enter Cayman. You can contact the Government’s Agricultural Department 0n 947-3090 or ciaric@candw.ky to find out more.
Where’s my nearest pet store?
Try Animal House located in the Industrial Park on North Sound Road, as they have the widest selection on the island. Can I buy mice for my pet snake?
I can’t say I’ve seen any myself, but if you contact one of the companies listed in our business directory under Pet Stores, they can advise you.
How can I replace my daughter’s dead goldfish?
I would call Petique or check our www.petique.ky . They are located in Pasadora Place on Smith Road. It’s a wonderful store full of fantastic gift ideas and they also have lots of fish tanks, pet toys and accessories. Their staff is very knowledgeable about fish and the items they carry within the store.
