How expensive is it to charter a sailing yacht?
I a not aware of any ‘bare boat’ charters in Cayman, but you can certainly charter a boat with a Captain. There are some wonderful, colourful characters with great Caymanian seafaring stories to enhance your Cayman experience. Who can berth in Cayman, and where?
We have the Cayman Islands Yacht Club which is a marina with fuelling station and small chandlery. Our yacht was 54’ with a six foot draft and we were able to berth it there long term. For information on Cayman Islands Boats & Yachts check out the links below.
Is there a yacht club for people who enjoy sailing?
We have a marina called The Cayman Islands Yacht Club, but for those who enjoy sailing I would suggest visiting or joining The Cayman Islands Sailing Club which is located in Red Bay and has been going for many years. It’s a fun place with an active social scene for all the family. They have regular racing as well as many social events along with an annual regatta.
