Welcome to the Cayman Islands!

On behalf of all of us who live and work here, I thank you for your interest in our peaceful Caribbean home.

I am confident that www.ecayonline.com will be an invaluable tool when you start planning your “vacation of a lifetime” to the Cayman Islands. Many of our tourism partners have fantastic websites which provide detailed information on accommodations, restaurants, watersports, attractions and more -- allowing you to begin your adventure even before you leave the comfort of your home.

If you’re already here on vacation, I am sure you are having a fabulous time. In order to make the most of your trip, the ecay printed directory will provide you with fingertip access to Cayman’s tourism businesses.

The Cayman Islands is renowned for white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, breathtaking underwater scenery, exceptional culinary variety and some of the Caribbean’s best duty free shopping … and yet, there is so much more! I urge you to dig a little deeper, and experience the “real” Cayman.

For the arts and culture enthusiast we invite you to start with our handful of intriguing art galleries, amateur dramatic groups and the Cayman Craft Market. To get the most up to date information on arts events and festivals, contact the National Cultural Foundation at www.artscayman.org and the National Gallery at www.nationalgallery.org.ky

Perhaps you’re a nature and history enthusiast? In Grand Cayman take the time to visit the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park where you will find the indigenous Blue Iguana and an abundance of native flora and fauna. Or, you could start with the National Museum, followed by a walk through Heroes Square in George Town and then onto “Pedro St. James”, the birthplace of Caymanian democracy. Be sure to contact the National Trust to learn more about our islands’ natural wonders, historic sites and walking tours at www.nationaltrust.org.ky

Our three islands – Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman – offer three individual Caymanian experiences, from the tranquil nature island paradise of Little Cayman, to the more traditional, unhurried Caymanian way of life on Cayman Brac and the “cosmopolitan” scene on Grand Cayman.

We invite you to get to know the many different faces of the Cayman Islands and I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we enjoy sharing our home with you.

Warm regards,
Pilar Bush
Director of Tourism
