Recreation Parks

There are many places you can take the family depending on the age and their interests, it might be a good idea to contact the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism and also search under Tourist Attractions in the Cayman Islands Cayman Islands Business Directory. The Islands are an all year round destination and the climate is never much below 80 degrees. We love Rum Point and Boatswain’s Beach which is a fabulous tourist attraction in West Bay. It’s a fun day out for the whole family. There are farmed turtles, large lagoons for swimming, restaurants, entertainment areas and a large gift store. For full information on Cayman Islands Tourist Attractions check out our Cayman Islands Business Directory.
Red Sail sports have some great trips for groups such as their sailing catamaran trips which will take you to the world famous Seven Mile Beach for a sunset sail or to Stringray City to swim with the Stringrays. For a full listing of Cayman Islands Tourist Attraction and Cayman Islands Water sports check out our Cayman Islands Business Directory.
There is a good choice of Health Clubs & Gyms here on the island and I personally am a member of World Gym. The facilities are excellent and its centrally located just off the world famous Seven Mile Beach. We have a wide choice of sports available, from water sports such as kite surfing, and diving to tennis, golf, sailing, football, rugby, and softball – in fact it is a recreational playground due to the wonderful year round climate. Always take advice when taking up a sport in middle age, perhaps seek advice from your doctor before launching into a new sport. Health Clubs & gyms are listed in the Cayman Islands Cayman Islands Business Directory. Please note there is a very active Triathlon Club here in Grand Cayman.
Yes, in fact vacationers use the golf course all the time. Check out www.safehaven.ky and for a full listing of Cayman Islands Golf courses see our Cayman Islands Business Directory.
The Cayman Islands is very proud of their sport and particularly cricket, we have a pretty cricket pitch and great teams. Sadly we do not have a proper oval like Jamaica or Barbados.
