Depending on the age of the child – there is a school on island to accommodate all age groups. Currently non Caymanians are not allowed to attend the government free schools and have to therefore attend private schools. Contact them direct and make an appointment to view the school first hand – some if not all of the schools have websites which will help you make progress if you are not on the island. The standard of private education is pretty good and the Cayman International School which is part of ISS a large international group is excellent and have superb facilities right in the heart of Camana Bay. There are strict regulations about bringing pets onto the island and DEFRA is the source of information – please refer to the Government listings in the Cayman Islands Cayman Islands Business Directory. There are some breeds of dogs that are not allowed on the island and these regulations can be found within the Government websites in these listings.
