These Optometrists have state-of-the-art equipment and most of them also have a wide selection of frames to choose from including designer names. Some Optometrists may offer free check ups from time to time as part of their service, however I have always been charged for a checked myself. Simply click on the links to your right and you can ask the Optometrists what their policies are on check ups.
No at this time it is not possible to get laser eye surgery in Cayman, however the local registered Optometrists will be happy to refer you to qualified eye surgeons in the U.S. or Canada.
There are no free state-sponsored schemed in Cayman, however it is a mandatory government requirement for all employed residents to have health insurance coverage through their employer. Government employee receive medical insurance through a government scheme and many insurance schemes do cover optical.
