Dr. Steven Tomlinson is a General Practitioner and General Surgeon. Dr. Tomlinson opened the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital in 2000.Dr. Tomlinson received his primary and secondary education in the Cayman Islands. At the age of 16 years, he was accepted by the University of the West Indies, where he studied Medicine, graduating as a Medical Doctor at the age of 21. His internship in Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Emergency Rotation, was undertaken at The University Hospital, Kingston, Jamaica, where he also undertook a course in Anaesthesia.
Dr. Tomlinson returned to Grand Cayman for a brief time in 1975, where he worked as Medical Officer of Health, at the George Town Hospital.
He then entered a Surgical Residency Program in the United Kingdom and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1979. He also worked for a short while in the U.S.A. as a General Surgeon.
Dr. Tomlinson again returned to Grand Cayman and worked with the Cayman Islands Health Service until 1983. His most recent position with the Cayman Islands Health Service was as Chief Surgeon.
In 1983 Dr. Tomlinson entered Private Practice. In 1985, he opened The Professional Medical Centre, which was the first Ambulatory Care Centre in the Cayman Islands, and indeed, one of the first in the World.
Dr. Tomlinson participates annually in Medical Symposiums and Conferences worldwide. He has also published numerous articles and papers for Medical Journals' and subscribes to the B.J.S., J.A.M.A., New England Journal of Surgery and the West Indian Medical Journal.
He is a member of the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Society, the Southeastern Surgical Congress, British Medical Association, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and is registered to practice medicine in the United Kingdom, Jamaica, Massachusetts and the Cayman Islands.
He represented the District of George Town from 1992-1996 in the Legislative Assembly, and in 2002 he was honored with the M.B.E. by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Dr. Sarath deAlwis is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital. Dr Sarath de Alwis MB BS, MS, FRCS, FRCOG, MRCP, MFFP, Dip. Ac & TCM worked as a specialist in the UK and subsequently was appointed Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the Cayman Islands Health Services in 1994. Trained in infertility, Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, laser surgery, Colposcopy, reconstructive surgery, ultrasound, amniocentesis, cancer screening and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Dirk Belfonte is a paediatric urgent care specialist who has been practicing at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2007.
Dr. Belfonte graduated in 1993 from the University of the West Indies and did his initial training in emergency medicine and paediatrics. He practiced with the Accident and Emergency department of the George Town Hospital, and then migrated to the UK to complete his postgraduate training in Emergency Medicine, Child health and General Practice at the Alder Hey Children’s hospital and the Liverpool Women’s hospital, two of the largest specialised centres in Europe.
Dr. Belfonte is accredited in the UK as a specialist General Practitioner and practised there for two and a half years prior to returning to Cayman. He is a member of the American Academy of Paediatrics and Royal College of Physicians of and has completed diploma studies in Child Health and Medical Law.

Dr. Bernard is a general practitioner who has been working at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2009. Dr. Bernard was trained as a doctor and surgeon at the Universidad de Cartagena in Cartagena, Colombia. She has practiced medicine as a family doctor in Colombia since 1988 and in the Cayman Islands since 2009. Dr. Bernard is also certified by the Caribbean Association of Medical Councils in Jamaica.

Dr. Christopher Bromley is a general surgeon who has been with Chrissie Tomlinson since 2002. Dr. Bromley graduated in medicine from Glasgow University, Scotland in 1970 with the award of the William Hunter medal in Clinical Surgery. He continued training and worked for the major part of his career in London during which time he received firstly Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and later Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons England.
Dr. Bromley came to Cayman in early 1995 as Chief Surgeon of the Cayman Islands Health Services, and from 2002 onwards he has practised as an independent general surgeon at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital, with special interest in minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy. Dr. Bromley specialises in treatment and follow-up for cancer screenings, as well as laparoscopic procedures for gall bladders, appendectomies and hernias. He is also an advocate of early detection and screenings for all types of diseases.

Dr. Samantha Digby is a general practitioner who has been seeing patients at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2008.
Dr. Digby earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Nottingham Medical School in England. She completed her vocational training at East Somerset and earned a Diploma in Child Health. She has also earned a diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practice.

Dr. Sidney Ebanks is a general physician and primary care doctor who has been with the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2003. Dr. Ebanks received his MBBS from University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica and has practiced medicine in Kingston as well as in the Cayman Islands.
In addition to whole body wellness, Dr. Ebanks also has specialised interest in chest and respiratory diseases as well as preventative cardiology. Dr. Tanja Ebanks is a general surgeon who has been with Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2007.
Dr. Ebanks was trained as a medical doctor at University in Bern. After graduating from University she worked one year in General Surgery and Traumatology in a small hospital in Jegenstorf, Switzerland. She later worked as a surgical registrar in Western Samoa on a volunteer base.
After another two years of General Surgery and Traumatology back in Switzerland in Grenchen and Biel, Dr. Ebanks did a two year residency in Hand and Plastic Surgery in Lucerne. She then chose to finish her residency in General Surgery instead of pursuing in Hand and Plastic Surgery and went on to work two years as a senior registrar in General Surgery and Traumatology in Delemont, in the French speaking part of Switzerland.

Dr. Stephen Gay is an Anaesthetist and Pain Management Specialist who has been at Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2002. Dr. Gay graduated from the University of the West Indies.
He started his anaesthetics career in Barbados and received the Advanced Diploma in Anaesthetics and gained considerable general experience before moving to the United Kingdom. Dr. Gay holds the Fellowship in Anaesthetics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and gained considerable expertise in specialist anaesthetics and pain management while working in a number of centres in the UK. These included Obstetric Anaesthesia and Analgesia, Intensive Care, Cardiac Anaesthesia, Adult and Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, Chronic Pain and Palliative Care. Dr. Gay returned to Barbados and was instrumental in the development of acute and chronic pain management services.

Dr. Lacanilao, or Dr. Lac as he is known by many of his patients, is a paediatrician practicing at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital.
He graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and went on to pursue graduate medical education in the United States. He finished his residency from the University of Missouri-Columbia Children's Hospital in General Paediatrics, where he got excellent reviews from several divisions like neonatology, infectious disease and endocrinology. He later completed a fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology at the Schneider Children's Hospital in New York.
He practiced as a consultant paediatrician in Manitoba, Canada for nearly two years, dealing with all aspects of paediatrics including management of sick babies in their neonatal intensive care unit. While practicing in the Cayman Islands more than 5 years ago, he was working in the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital and also taking on-call duties for the Health Service Authority in their Nursery/NICU and Paediatric Units. Dr. Komal Lawrence is a Doctor of Internal Medicine who has been working with patients at the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2007. Dr. Lawrence earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of the West Indies (MONA Campus). She then did post-graduate residency training at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program in Internal Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland where she was awarded Outstanding Achievement in Ambulatory Medicine. Dr. Lawrence is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Marc Lockhart is a psychiatrist with the Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Lockhart received his Doctorate of Medicine from UTESA Medical College in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and did his Adult Psychiatry Residency at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center in Detroit Michigan.
He is a former member of The National Drug Council and is a member of numerous international psychiatric organizations. He has dedicated time to teaching medical students, residents and psychology students, and is also a professor of abnormal psychology at St, Stephen’s College/ITLD campus in Grand Cayman.
His areas of special interest and clinical focus include emergency psychiatry, psychopharmacology and mood disorders. Dr. Yaron Rado is the Chief Radiologist at Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital (CTMH) and Cayman Islands Imaging (CII). He began working with CTMH in 2006.
He completed his medical training at the University of Hamburg graduating in 1999 and completed his Residency in Radiology at the University of Duesseldorf, Germany. He is a Board Certified Radiologist in Germany, and registered with the General Medical Council, UK. Dr. Rado is also a member of the Radiological Society of NorthaAmerica, Inc., and a member of the German Röntgen Society.
Dr. Rado has a keen interest and experience in mammography, digital mammography, CT, MRI and interventional radiology. He strives to implement the latest and most advanced state-of-the-art technology in the hospital.

Dr. Darley Solomon is an attending general surgeon who has been practicing at Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital since 2011.
Dr. Solomon earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Doctor of Medicine degrees at Howard University in Washington, DC. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx, NY and a residency in General Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson Mississippi. Dr. Solomon has also earned a Masters of Business Administration.
Dr. Solomon has practiced as an attending and consultant surgeon in Mississippi and in the Cayman Islands. He has also acted as an Assistant Professor at the St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in Grand Cayman.

Mr. Raymond Anthony is the staff podiatrist at Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital. With over 30-years clinical experience, Ray specializes in medicine and surgery of the foot, clinical biomechanics and foot orthotic therapy, sports medicine, paediatric (children) lower-limb disorders, and wound care.
A graduate of the Chelsea School of Podiatric Medicine (UK), Ray is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists (UK); a Fellow of the College of Podiatric Surgery (UK), and a certified National Alliance of Wound Care (US) specialist.
Before joining CTMH in 2004, Ray spent 10-years as a paediatric foot specialist at Bromfield Hospital, Chelmsford, England where he also completed his surgical residency. For 4-years, Ray directed the Sports Injury Clinic at Haringey Athletics Club in London, England where he treated a number of world-class athletes including Olympians. Ray has worked with two London-based Premier League football clubs, and the UK Commonwealth Games track and field team. From 1990 to 2008, Ray owned and directed RX Laboratories, the most respected foot orthotics laboratory in the UK, and Karger AG (Switzerland) published his medical textbook The Manufacture & Use of the Functional Foot Orthosis in 1991.
