Lauren Bennett and her husband “Link” (as he is affectionately known), hail from the great state of Texas and have been coming to the Cayman Islands for years. It didn’t take long for them to consider the islands their home away from home, and so last year they finally decided to set down roots here and open a business of their own.

Both of them have a background in the restaurant industry. For example, Lauren’s family members owned restaurants and she grew up as a foodie, always happy to try new things and experience different dishes. She and Link had always dreamed of owning their own place and now it has finally happened.

Lauren’s is a cozy place with blue and white accents throughout and lots of natural light thanks to the large windows. It also features an outdoor patio where people can sit on balmy days, shaded by umbrellas. The menu covers breakfast and lunch, and although at first glance it may look simple, these still waters run deep. The dishes are made from fresh ingredients and created with passion by Chef Petar, originally from Bulgaria. Chef Petar has worked in a number of five star resorts
