“Old-time Cayman fun in the 21st century” is the best way to describe the completely refurbished Cracked Conch restaurant in Grand Cayman (West Bay). A Cayman classic originally opened by Bob and Suzy Soto over 25 years ago, the Cracked Conch has returned with wonderful changes, all designed to enhance your Cayman dining experience.

Regulars and newcomers are always taken aback by the breathtaking views that the Cracked Conch offers of the Caribbean Sea, but now they can enjoy an extended restaurant with white tablecloth service and an exciting new menu by Chef Gilbert Cavallaro. At the Cracked Conch you can enjoy a beautiful, very cosmopolitan bar/lounge; alfresco dining on multiple patios overlooking the ocean; private dining for up to 30 in Soto’s Room; and the Macabuca Oceanside Tiki Bar serving Caribbean food and drinks at the water’s edge.

Signature conch specialties including tender Cracked Conch and robust spicy red Conch Chowder are served alongside new classics including local Red Snapper and Fresh Mahi Mahi. Macabuca ocean side tiki bar is quickly becoming Cayman’s hotspot for live musical entertainment. Three nights a week you can enjoy everything from local DJ’s to the hottest live bands on the Island.

Macabuca serves up fun along with an array of annual parties such as our Pink Party supporting the Cayman Cancer Society, Macabuca Nations celebrating Cayman’s Constitution Day, Canada Day, and American’s Independence Day. In 1981, Bob and Suzy Soto opened the original doors of the Cracked Conch and developed a wonderful reputation for a lovely setting, fabulous food and friendly service. Now, in 2009, the restaurant continues those wonderful attributes in a fresh, beautiful restaurant maintaining the tradition of a Cracked Conch no one will forget.
